Tyree Guyton and Heidelberg Project executive director Jenenne Whitfield will be presenting at the Great Lakes ReUse Conference in Buffalo, NY, hosted by Buffalo ReUse and the Building Material ReUse Association.

The conference addresses the root causes of some of our most challenging urban issues with strategic, common sense solutions that foster communities, create opportunities, strengthen local economies, and improve the quality of life for all residents. ~ GLRC Press Release

Tyree's work will be included in the Art d'ECO show, presented by the Ford Gallery at Wayne County Community College District.

The visual arts are perhaps among the vocations whose interests and principles are most naturally aligned with the principles and interests of a balanced and healthy ecology.  WCCCD calls upon the visual artists to lead [and] demonstrate how it is possible for a vocation to be "eco-friendly". - ECO Art Show Ideas

The exhibition will be at the gallery, 1001 West Fort St. in the Downtown Campus of WCCCD from October 23rd - December 19, 2008.

Tyree Guyton's Heidelberg Project has been selected as one of 15 projects to represent the U.S. in the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale.

The Biennale runs from Sept 14th - November 23rd.
